In October, in the Chelyabinsk region, doctors recorded the incidence of pneumonia in 52 people per 100 thousand population.
This figure is almost a third (31%) higher than last year’s data, and this figure is 27% higher than the average incidence rate of pneumonia in the region over many years.
At the same time, the number of cases of pneumonia in children under 2 years of age has decreased. In other age categories, an increase in the incidence is observed, and, if in adults this increase is 8%, then the increase in schoolchildren and adolescents is catastrophic – it was he who gave a general increase of 31%.

The cause of the development of the disease are various microorganisms, for example, staphylococcus, mycoplasma, microviruses, adenoviruses. The most dangerous is the variant of viral microbial infection.
