Sergey Tsekov, a member of the committee of the Federation Council on international affairs, commented on RT’s statement on Kiev’s statement that Russia is allegedly blocking the passage of over 100 ships in the Kerch Strait.
“The passage of ships through the Kerch Strait may be stopped due to weather conditions. I do not know what the weather situation is, but I understand that if it is difficult, the vessels may linger. Many ships may accumulate, they take turns in turn, ”said the senator.
He stressed that "this is a rather complicated procedure that requires prior approval."
“This is all fiction next. I do not admit the thought that the passage of ships is deliberately blocked. Delays are possible for two reasons: either the conditions are complex or a lot of ships have accumulated. But it was at all times, ”said Tsekov.
Earlier, Assistant Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodian said that Russia allegedly blocked the passage of more than 100 ships in the Kerch Strait.
In Crimea, these statements were called fake.
