In trouble: Drake canceled show at Lollapalooza Brazil and would have gone to Miami

After his show at the Estéreo Picnic festival in Colombia, Drake canceled his show at Lollapalooza Brasil 2023. The rapper had planned his last date in Latin America, but decided to cancel it due to lack of personnel to perform the concert.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Drake finds himself without some members of his production and sound, essential for the realization of his Lollapalooza show in Sao Paulo. Drake was excited to perform for his fans in Brazil. Unfortunately, this is out of his control. We are sorry”, they explained in a statement through the social networks of the Brazilian festival.

In the same post, the production of the event provided for the possibility of refunding the tickets while announcing that Skrillex will be the artist that replaces Drake’s number. So far, the rapper has not shared anything about it on his social networks.

Through Twitter, some users shared a video of the musician in Miami with 50 Cent. As they indicated, apparently the singer would have canceled the show to finish his Latin American tour faster and meet his colleague in the United States.

Neither of them shared their meeting in Miami. Only 50 Cent shared an Instagram story promoting a DJ event at the venue, hinting that he is indeed stopping in southeast Florida.

Similar to what happened at Lollapalooza Argentina 2023, the Canadian climbed a few minutes to the Colombian stage of Stereo Picnic and disappointed the fans. Some present pointed out that the rapper seemed to want to finish the show, so he only sang the choruses of several songs.
