Index – FOMO – Kim Kardashian: Hate speech is unforgivable

Kardashian posted her statement on her Instastories section of her Instagram account on Monday. “Hate speech is never okay or forgivable. I sympathize with the Jewish community. The horrific violence and hateful rhetoric directed against them must end immediately,” the post read.

The post comes days after singer Boy George posted a video on his Instagram account questioning why Kardashian hasn’t spoken out publicly about her ex’s scandalous behavior.

It’s shocking that Kim Kardashian didn’t come forward and add her name to this controversy, because this woman has children with Kanye, so as a mother, she should understand how it feels for little Jewish children to hear these f***ing comments, it can be demoralizing and terrifying

Boy George said on his social media page.

Kanye West is under fire

West, who legally changes his name to Yere, has come under fire in recent weeks for anti-Semitic social media posts and for his recent fashion show White Lives Matter he was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription

The Anti-Defamation League categorizes the term as a “hate slogan” used by white supremacist groups, including the Ku Klux Klan.

A now-deleted tweet in which West wrote that he was “going to beat 3 Jewish people to death” also caused a stir, according to Internet Archive Wayback Machine records obtained by CNN. His tweet has since been removed and Twitter has also locked his account.

In an interview after the controversial tweet, West told Piers Morgan that he was sorry for the people he had offended, although he added that he did not regret his comment. A spokesperson for talent agency CAA confirmed to CNN on Monday that West is no longer a client.
