Raqhid Jevon Render, a musician and songwriter, passed away in Los Angeles on Friday. The rapper, named Lil Keed, was 24 years old and the cause of his death is still unknown, the New York Times reports.
The young artist’s news of his death was confirmed by his record label. Lil Keed would have performed at a music festival in Charlotte on Saturday night.
Lil Keed was born in Atlanta on March 17, 1998, as the fifth child in her family. He started taking rap music more seriously in 2016, and a year later his younger brother, LIl Goti, took a similar career.
One of his best-known hits was Nameless, which ranks above 33 million views on the largest video share.
