Influenza vaccination in Rio begins a new stage this Monday (16)

Next step is to vaccinate cariocas between 40 and 49 years old who have comorbidities

Vaccination against influenza in the city of Rio will have a new phase, starting this Monday (16). According to information from the Municipal Health Department (SMS), cariocas aged between 40 and 49 years, who have comorbidities or other conditions that are considered special for the individual to be able to take the immunizing agent, will have this right.

In order for people in this age group, who correspond to the indicated situation, to be vaccinated, it will be necessary to present a document attesting to the comorbidity or such special condition. According to the Secretariat, cariocas can present different types of documents: prescription for continued use, medical report, medical certificate, among others.
