Innovative Work-Integrated Learning Initiative –

Through the Innovative Work-Integrated Learning initiative, we help provide valuable and relevant work experience to post-secondary students across Canada. This initiative focuses on short-term, high-intensity, technology-assisted opportunities.


To participate in an innovative work-integrated learning opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • be enrolled in a post-secondary program;
  • be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have legal refugee status;
  • be legally authorized to work in Canada under the laws and regulations of the province or territory in which you reside.
