Investigating the Bribery Case of Regent Ade Yasin, KPK Finds Irregularities

VIVA – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has studied the findings of the alleged bribery case carried out by the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) related to the Bogor Regency Government’s financial report for the 2021 Fiscal Year.

The four suspects who were examined on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, were the inactive Bogor Regent Ade Yasin, the Secretary of the Bogor Regency PUPR Service, Maulana Adam, the Head of the Regional Treasury for the Bogor Regency BPKAD Ihsan Ayatullah and the PPK at the Bogor Regency PUPR Service, Rizki Taufik.

“Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the KPK’s Red and White building, the Investigative Team has examined the prime suspect AY (Ade Yasin) et al to be witnesses in each other’s case files,” said KPK Spokesperson, Ali Fikri in a written statement. , Wednesday 11 May 2022.

Ali continued, the KPK investigation team found irregularities in the process of several projects at the Bogor Regency Public Works Office, namely the alleged process was not in accordance with the provisions.

“The four of them were present and their knowledge was explored, among others related to the confirmation of evidence resulting from the search. In addition, it was also investigated regarding the beginning of the discussion of the findings of the West Java Representative BPK Examining Team on several projects at the Bogor Regency Public Works Service which allegedly did not comply with the provisions,” he added.

Previously, Ade Yasin and his staff were suspected of conditioning the Bogor Regency Government’s financial report for the 2021 fiscal year again to get an unqualified predicate (WTP) from the West Java Representative BPK. In fact, there are findings that road projects carried out by the Bogor Regency Government are not in accordance with the contract and have the potential to harm state finances.
