The focus is on security with plugging two loopholes. They concern the Webkit engine of the Safari browser. Apple provides a solution to a memory corruption problem through better state management (CVE-2021-30665). Processing malicious web content can lead to arbitrary code execution. This flaw is considered problematic because it is possible that computer attacks have already tried to exploit it.

At the same time, an integer overflow problem (CVE-2021-30663) was solved by better validation of entries. Here again, the giant explains that processing malicious web content can lead to arbitrary code execution. This security flaw could be exploited.

In view of the “security” nature of this update, it is strongly recommended that you install it as soon as possible. To update the iPhone, just go to this address
