Is Donald Trump right to want to overtax French wine?


This is the second time that the American president is attacking French wines, emblematic product of French exports to the United States. Last November, in a series of tweets sent after his visit to Paris, Donald Trump threatened to tax French wines to remedy the trade imbalance that, according to him, exists between the two countries. This time, in a long interview on CNBC, he suggested that he could impose additional customs duties on wines to correct this unfair competition. But what is it really?
