The curfew, which was re-announced with the exams held in the last two weeks, was also the subject of curiosity for citizens this weekend. Following the recommendations to be given by the scientific committee, it was expected to discuss whether there would be a curfew on 4 July and 5 July. However, no information on the curfew was included in the cabinet and Scientific Committee meeting decisions this week.
IS THERE A PROHIBITION TO REMOVE THE WEEKEND?
After seeing that some citizens did not apply individual measures such as social distances and wearing masks, the number of cases increased again recently. However, after the Science Board meeting and the cabinet meeting, no decision was made on the curfew. There is currently no curfew that covers the weekend.
Reminding that the number of cases increased with the end of restrictions such as curfew, Koca continued his words as follows;
“After the success of getting under one thousand in our new case numbers, we started to experience some uneasiness after the recent increases. We should know that these developments are not parallel with those in the world. ”
“Increases in the number of cases are increases that can be brought under control. What we need to do is to look for suitable options in our daily life. Combating the epidemic does not want us the impossible. ”
CANCELED BY THE PRESIDENT
A circular on curfew was issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs last week and a curfew covering 15 provinces was announced. However, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced in his statement that the ban was canceled.
