RAMALLAH, KOMPAS.com – His investigation into the journalist’s murder Al Jazeera Shireen Abu Akleh points out that she was shot by an Israeli soldier in a premeditated murder.

When shot, Abu Akleh was wearing a helmet and press vest which clearly marked him as a journalist.
Israel angrily denied the allegations. Israel says it will continue its investigation into Abu Akleh’s death.
Earlier, the Israeli military said that Abu Akleh may have been shot accidentally by one of its soldiers or by a Palestinian militia in the crossfire.
Palestinian Attorney General Akram Al-Khatib told reporters that his investigation showed there were no militias near Abu Akleh when he died.

“This is a war crime,” said Al-Khatib.
