Italian flight attendants take off their clothes

The airline Alitalia is history, but the successor company will only take over just under 3,000 of the 10,000 employees. Flight attendants want to defend themselves against this – and even undress for it.

The traditional Italian airline Alitalia no longer exists, the last plane took off on October 14th. The successor is Italia Trasporto Aereo (ITA), which is taking over fewer than 3,000 of the 10,000 former Alitalia employees. These should also be employed under significantly worse conditions. In Rome, around 50 ex-flight attendants protested in an unusual way.
