Jadon Sancho made a hook behind his time at Borussia Dortmund. With Manchester United, the shooting star now wants to ignite the next stage in his career. The former BVB professional draws on the tricks that he has copied from his idols.
Jadon Sancho once learned how to handle round leather on the streets of London. The latest addition from Manchester United had taken some former world-class footballers as models. Be greatest idol: Ronaldinho.
“When we saw the Ronaldinho commercial in which he was tunneling people, we tried to do just that,” said Sancho in an interview with the English record champions’ media channel. Wayne Rooney, one of England’s record-breaking football players, was also taken by Sancho at a young age. “An icon and a role model” is Rooney for the former BVB player.
Another archetype footballer named by Sancho is superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, the only one from the trio who is still actively pursuing his career.
“I have the feeling that everyone is different and that I have different characteristics than the other players. Of course Cristiano Ronaldo and what he has achieved in his career is fantastic,” said Sancho enthusiastically.
Incidentally, Rooney and Ronaldo have also played for Manchester United in the past – just like Sancho, who left Borussia Dortmund for 85 million euros and signed a long-term contract at the Theater of Dreams, dated until 2026.
