Deputy Governor DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria responded to the criticism from the Secretary General of the PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto who questioned his achievements Anies Baswedan while being governor. He considered what Hasto said was a ‘vitamin’.
“In principle, we respect all what Mas Hasto, the Secretary General said, it’s a good thing, for the government it’s good if someone asks questions, someone recommends it, someone criticizes it, we must consider it a healthy vitamin,” said Riza at City Hall. Jakarta, Monday (25/7).
He said Hasto’s statement certainly had good considerations. In running the government, according to him, there must be check and balances.
“In my opinion, criticism is not only recommended, but must. There needs to be checks and balances, especially those who convey the PDIP Secretary General, of course, have careful consideration and that is a good thing. So we can better build Jakarta,” he said.
Reportedly, Hasto Kristiyanto questioned Anies’ achievements while leading DKI Jakarta.
This was conveyed by Hasto when giving a speech at the inauguration of the Red and White Cadets Management at the DPD PDIP Jakarta Office, Tebet, Friday (22/7).
According to Hasto, under the leadership of Joko Widodo-Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), Jakarta has shown improvement. In addition, in their leadership, the community can also easily convey their aspirations to their leaders.
However, Hasto believes that this changed when the reins of leadership shifted to Anies.
“But then when there is a change in leadership, many positive changes are not made,” said Hasto.
