Rennes, France / Kallinchen, Germany – Robert Conrad, Managing Director of the French Energiequelle subsidiary P&T Technologie since 2012, has given up his position due to old age and retired on October 1st. Conrad’s successor is Jan Ducouret, who has been with P&T since June 1st.
Robert Conrad can look back on a successful time: 17 wind farms with 82 turbines were connected to the grid under his leadership. The first P&T solar project went into operation in Decize this year. In addition to the headquarters in Rennes, two new locations have also been opened in the past few years: the branches in Dijon and Royan. For the 66-year-old German-French, resigning as managing director is not the end of his job. He wants to remain committed to the energy transition and represent P&T in politics and associations.
“Robert has had a significant impact on our development in France and has campaigned professionally and personally for renewable energies and our company. I would like to thank him for his exceptional performance and I am delighted that he will continue to work for us, ”said Michael Raschemann, Managing Director of the Energiequelle Group.
Conrad’s successor, Jan Ducouret, has more than 15 years of experience in the wind and solar industries. Most recently, the 39-year-old was Head of Wind and Solar France at Statkraft. As a proven expert in the field of renewable energies, he is looking forward to the new challenge: “I am highly motivated to continue Robert’s successful path with my team and look forward to working with my French and German colleagues,” said Ducouret.
France is an established market for energy sources. To date, P&T has installed 240 MW in the wind and solar sectors. In total, P&T now employs more than 30 people. The 20th anniversary of the French subsidiary will be celebrated in the next few months.
