The Union of Polish Stage Artists announced the death of Jerzy Janeczek on the night of July 12-13. He was most popular with the role of Witia Pawlak, son of Kazimierz and Mania Pawlak in Sylwester Chęciński’s trilogy “Sami swoi”, “Nie ma mocnych” and “Love or throw”.

Jerzy Janeczek’s funeral
According to the se.pl portal, the funeral mass took place in the church in Lutkówka, which is one of the most valuable monuments of sacred architecture in Mazovia. The wooden temple was built in 1744 thanks to the efforts of Władysław Grzegorzewski, castellan of Ciechanów.
The artist rested in the local cemetery, where there is a historic tombstone of an officer of the Napoleonic army, Major Józef Wiśniewski – the owner of the Nosy-Poniatki estate, who died in 1864.
Unexpected death of a popular actor
The death of Jerzy Janeczek was very unexpected. The 77-year-old actor was in great shape, took care of himself, went to the pool, exercised every day. Unfortunately, the artist was allergic to bee venom. The man knew about his condition, so he always had adrenaline with him.
A few hours before his death, he stepped on an insect whose venom made him allergic. He tried to save himself. He took an adrenaline rush immediately. It seemed that the situation was under control, but unfortunately Janeczka’s condition began to deteriorate. He died in the hospital.
