Jesús Madriñán in Santiago de Compostela. Galician Center for Contemporary Art

Jesús Madriñán He is one of the most incisive photographers on the current scene. His work has focused mainly on a portrait reinterpretation understood as an intermediate link between psychological gender and the typology file. His way of working is very meticulous and precise; It uses wide format camera and analog film making the work associated with reporting speed more complex.

This project is formulated as a renewal and updating of the vision on the reality of the Camino de Santiago and its pilgrims. As a diary, the exhibition emerges from the photographer’s own experience as a pilgrim, capturing identities as they become part of his walking days.
