Jimmy Butler missed second half of Game 3 due to knee inflammation – Basketball

Miami Heat leader Jimmy Butler missed the second half of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against Boston (109:103, 2-1) due to right knee inflammation.

The Heat immediately announced that Butler would not return to the game. Victor Oladipo replaced the striker in the starting five at the start of the second half.

According to Yahoo Sports insider Chris Haynes, Butler does not have a serious injury and it is highly likely that the striker will take part in the 4th match of the series.

Butler finished the game with 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 19.5 minutes on the court.

Butler missed Game 5 of the first round series against Atlanta with the same injury.
