Business manager in optronics (optical engineer)

We are currently recruiting an engineer/doctor training officer in optics / photolithography for a French family group with a European reputation with some of the most advanced services and products on the market. The company is mainly linked to the world of aerospace / Defense / Aeronautics.
An ultra-innovative company with impressive growth, for 40 years it has become the benchmark for innovation in its sector of activity. It is entering a new phase of development with many job creations in progress. You will join a sales team of 3 people.
You will have a central position in the company, you will be in charge of the commercial and technical management of the various offers. Knowing that in this world, sales are 90% based on pure technique! This is a job creation following an increase in activity. You will be closer to the technique because all of the production is done within the head office.
-Animate the commercial development of your perimeter (with the support of the R&D teams and the sales manager) -Promote in a technical way, the technologies and services of the group -Be a force of proposal on new sectors to penetrate -Pilot and organize the new business with the aim of winning and retaining prospects/customers -Knowing how to understand the technical needs of customers in order to propose technical solutions adapted to their problems -Knowing how to discuss with ETIs-SMEs-Large groups -You are not afraid to pick up your phone when you have to do business prospecting
- Ensure the management of files and order taking
- Occasional trips to France and Europe
Knowing that significant training will take place when taking up the position and for young graduates, sales appointments will be made in pairs for the first few months. The interest of the position is that you manage projects from A to Z on very technical subjects and uses (your work can very quickly end up on Mars!)
