John Travolta has spoken candidly about the loss of his wife

It’s been two years since Kelly Preston died of breast cancer at the age of 57 – the actress left behind two children, as well as her beloved husband John Travolta, who to this day has not really gotten over the loss of his love.

It’s terrible what the actor went through

As an actor, John Travolta has practically achieved everything possible: he was nominated twice for an Oscar, and his work was also awarded with a Golden Globe. Travolta became famous in the 1970s, the world got to know him from such successful films as Carrie, Saturday Night Fever, and Grease, as well as the Sheet Music and Hairspray, but people are probably most familiar with Nicsak, ki sözt! trilogy, where he played James Ubriacco. It seemed that the actor’s personal life was going great alongside his career: in 1991, he married actress Kelly Preston, with whom they made several films together, but in the meantime, Travolta had to face so many tragedies. The star couple had three children, Jett, Ella Bleu and Benjamin, but the first-born son died in 2009. Jett was 16 years old when he died tragically while on vacation in the Bahamas, the cause of his death was a severe seizure, and shortly after Jett’s loss, John and Kelly confirmed that he had boyish autism, which was why he had regular seizures. A few years after Jett’s death, the actor had to face another serious problem: his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, and two years later, Kelly passed away due to her illness at the age of 57. John Travolta and their daughter, Ella, announced her death in an Instagram post, and the star still can’t get over what happened to his wife. Still, he had to stay strong, since he was the only one left with his two children: Benjamin was only 10 years old when his mother died, so John and the terrified boy had a very heartbreaking conversation around this time.
