While the number of patients under surveillance (PDP) is 13,296 patients.
“We are still monitoring the ODP of 45,192 people and specifically supervising the patients in this supervision we carry out in hospitals in Indonesia as many as 13,296 people,” said Yurianto.
4. Enough hospitalization
On that occasion, Yuri ensured that hospitals in Indonesia were still sufficient to accommodate patients infected with the virus.
Yuri said, the occupancy rate of hospitals that treat Covid-19 patients in Indonesia is only half of the total capacity, which is 55.59 percent.
“If we look at the same data, our national hospital occupancy rate is 55.59 percent of its capacity used,” Yuri said.
According to Yuri, as many as 21 provinces showed occupancy rates below 55.59 percent.
Then, there are 13 provinces whose occupancy rates are above the average. Of these, five of them showed occupancy rates above 75 percent.

The five provinces are South Sulawesi, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Papua and West Nusa Tenggara.
“Only 5 provinces have occupancy rates above 75 percent,” Yuri said.
When juxtaposed with the recovered data from Covid-19 patients, Yuri is optimistic that the recovery rate of patients will continue to increase.
“This recovery rate will continue to increase over time because the hospital service burden is on average still at 55.59 percent so that we can still do our best service,” Yuri said.
