Three men were injured in a clash on Sunday night in Lengnau. Two of them were taken to the hospital for treatment. Further investigations are under the direction of the competent public prosecutor’s office.

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, shortly after 2.30 a.m., the cantonal police in Bern received a report that an injured man had been found on Solothurnstrasse in Lengnau, not far from a gas station there. This can be found in a media release.

The emergency services, which were deployed immediately, found two men with injuries on site who were already being cared for by third parties. Both men were then given initial medical treatment on site and then taken to the hospital in an ambulance. According to previous knowledge, the two men had been injured by a man with a sharp object in a previous argument.

Helper also injured

In the course of the operation, another man reported to the emergency services on site, who stated that he had observed the altercation and then rushed to help the two men. He was also physically attacked by the alleged perpetrator and slightly injured.

To clarify the events, the cantonal police in Bern, led by the regional public prosecutor’s office in Berner Jura-Seeland, have started investigations.
