On Tuesday evening there was a dispute between several people at the Kleine Schanze in Bern. A youth was seriously injured. Four people were arrested. Witnesses are being sought to clarify the events.
At around 11:25 p.m. on Tuesday, the cantonal police in Bern were informed that there had been an altercation at the Kleine Schanze in Bern. The emergency services, which were deployed immediately, found an injured 17-year-old on site. They immediately provided him with emergency medical care before he was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. According to current knowledge, there had previously been an argument between several people, in which the young person was seriously injured.
In the course of a search, four people believed to have been involved in the altercation were stopped. The men, aged between 17 and 33, were provisionally arrested. Further investigations are underway under the direction of the cantonal youth prosecutor and the regional public prosecutor’s office in Bern-Mittelland. The Kleine Schanze was temporarily closed for the purpose of securing evidence.
