His first matches in Lionel Bah’s team heralded a great 2020-2021 season. Author of 4 goals and 1 assist in 7 games (6 in N2, 1 in the Coupe de France), Junior Burban had found his place on the front of the San-Priote attack. Long remained in the Rhône in the expectation and hope that the championship will resume, the striker finally and logically shortened his loan in order to return to Lorient, where he remains under contract until June 30, 2023.

A second consecutive loan

Eager to secure his services for a full year, the ASSP has therefore succeeded in convincing the FCL to give him back the 21-year-old center-forward. An agreement tied up a few hours after the 7th in Ligue 1 concluded the signing of a young attacking prospect to strengthen his reserve team, undoubtedly accelerating Burban’s second loan to Saint-Priest.
