Juventus, authoritative winner of the shock against Lazio 3 to 0, confirmed its clear recovery by reaching the podium, from which its opponent was ejected at the end of the 15th day of Serie A, Sunday in Turin.
The success of Juve does not suffer from any dispute, as it dominated the debates, leaving no respite to Lazio.
The Italian capital club was weighed down by goalkeeper Ivan Provedel, guilty of two of Juve’s three goals. First he completely missed his exit on the first by being lobbed by Moise Kean, launched by Adrien Rabiot in the back of the lazial defense (1-0, 43rd).
Then his responsibility is still engaged on the second since he released the powerful strike of Filip Kostic in the feet of Kean who was not asked to offer himself a nice double (54th).
The former PSG striker, in great shape since replacing the injured Dusan Vlahovic, scored his second and third goals of the week after that of the narrow success in Verona (1-0) on Thursday.
Provedel however redeemed himself by stopping a big, tight shot from Milik (54th) but could not prevent the sixth consecutive success for Massimiliano Allegri’s men.
Previously, the nugget of Juve Nicolò Fagioli (21), with a vicious shot at the entrance to the surface, had already put Provedel to work, forced to stop in two stages (11th).
A wrapped shot from Pedro which was heading for the skylight would have deserved a much better fate, but the Juve goalkeeper slammed it for a corner (41st).
Milik completed this undeniable success by taking over a cross from Chiesa (89th) without opposition.
Bad operation for the capital club, which remained on two consecutive successes suffered a setback and abandoned 2nd place to AC Milan, winner of Fiorentina at the start of the evening, and found itself relegated to the foot of the podium.
