Juventus come out on top against Venice / Serie A / J35 / Juve-Venice (2-1) /

Juventus 2-1 Venise

Goals: Bonucci (6e et 75e) for Juventus // Aramu (71e) for Venice

For once, the hero is not called Vlahović… but Bonucci!

Because against Venice, in an important match counting for the 35e day of Serie A, the defender saved the Old Lady from a great disappointment by offering victory to his team thanks to a double. After a first chance for Zakaria, the central back first opened the scoring with a header very early on a free kick relayed by De Ligt before putting Juve back on track with a fox from the surfaces following a a corner. In the meantime, the visitors had indeed managed to equalize twenty minutes from time via a nice praline from Aramu (assist by Kiyine).

Still, for his first meeting without his (former) coach Zanetti, sacked for disappointing results, the red lantern did not make a bad impression. Henry’s helmet shot thus fled the frame, while Aramu saw Szczęsny intervene twice before it was completed. For their part, the locals were dangerous in sequences with, for example, a Morata who missed the break. Without being really convincing, but ensuring their fourth place (ten points ahead of Lazio, only one behind Naples and five behind the Milan leader with one less game to play).

The title ? On a huge misunderstanding…
