JAKARTA – Kabareskrim Police Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto instructed his staff to continue to allow traders to sell their goods. With a note that health protocols (prokes) are enforced and do not violate operating hours.
“For traders while implementing social distancing, this is still allowed. Unless they have violated the specified operating hours,” Agus said in a virtual briefing at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Tuesday (20/7/2021).

On the other hand, said Agus, National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has emphasized to all members of the police not to be arrogant to the public. According to him, do not let the actions taken are counter-productive to government policies.
“Please remind the ranks so that all lines are not arrogant to the community. For example in Solo, which uses regional languages and is more persuasive,” he said.
Then, Agus asked his staff to check every day regarding the distribution and availability of drugs and oxygen. Related to this, Agus emphasized the question of checking the availability of medicines and oxygen for a minimum of three days or better for the next week.
“Therefore, it is necessary to increase inter-regional coordination for this readiness. The National Police Chief reminds that the National Police is ready to assist in the distribution of social assistance to each of the most affected areas,” he said.
