Kemi Adeosun is reported to be leaving Nigeria after resigning as Finance Minister

Kemi Adeosun is said to have left Nigeria 24 hours after resigning as Treasury Secretary.

According to the Daily Trust, she is said to have landed in London on Saturday night.

Adeosun has headed the Treasury since November 2015, but resigned on Friday after parading a fake Youth Service Certificate.

Buhari, who had since received her letter of resignation, thanked Adeosun for her services to the nation and wished her all the best for her future endeavors.

DAILY POST had reported that Adeosun, who graduated from London East Polytechnic in 1989 at the age of 22, did not follow the NYSC Act, which required every Nigerian graduate at home or abroad to attend one year of compulsory military service at the nation.

Recall that the NYSC has said that Adeosun has requested a waiver from their records, but has not indicated whether the claim was granted or not.
