Kendall Graveman to White Sox for three years

The White Sox began their offseason by reinforcing the back of the bullpen, coming close to a three-year deal with reliever Kendall Graveman, according to a report by MLB Network analyst Jon Heyman.

The club has not confirmed the pact, which would be US $ 24 million.

The right-hander joins an already solid bullpen, which features AL Relief of the Year Liam Hendriks.

Graveman established himself as a solid option in 2021, in his 30s. He began the season with Seattle, allowing three earned runs in 33 innings, before being traded to the Astros on July 27. The right-hander continued his dominance in Houston, where he finished the year with a 5-1 record, 10 saves of 1.77 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 56 innings.
