The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavel Klimkin, stated about the threats that come to the living “in constant fear”, but do not want the residents of the Crimea to participate in the presidential elections in Russia.

On March 12, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogerini, said that the EU authorities do not recognize the conduct of presidential elections in Russia on the territory of the Crimea.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko also stated that he “does not recognize fake elections in the temporarily occupied territories” and threatened to impose sanctions on persons involved in their organization.
