At around 4 p.m., a 65-year-old car driver came onto the opposite lane on Wolfgangsee Strasse (B158) for an unknown cause. There was a frontal crash with the vehicle of a 35-year-old.
The 35-year-old driver and his 34-year-old passenger were slightly injured, the one-year-old baby of the passenger also suffered injuries. The 65-year-old was seriously injured, and because of this, an alcohol test was not possible for the time being. An alcohol test on the 35-year-old was negative. The four injured were admitted to the Salzburg State Hospital.

The Wolfgangsee Straße (B158) was completely closed, a longer backwater formed. The Koppl fire brigade and the Salzburg fire brigade carried out the cleanup. The two accident vehicles had to be towed with total damage, the police have initiated investigations into the course of the accident.
