Briton Kyle Edmund, 62nd in the world, won the final of the ATP 250 tournament in New York on Sunday against Italian veteran Andreas Seppi (98th), 7-5, 6-1.

After a hung first set, the 25-year-old Briton accelerated the pace in the second round to win the second title of his career, after Antwerp in October 2018. Monday in the ATP ranking, he will progress by 17 ranks to install in 45th position.
