Kyle Lowry’s future was resolved just minutes after the 2021 free agency kicked off. The veteran point guard comes to the Miami Heat in an operation through sign and trade from the Toronto Raptors, Adrian Wojnarowski advanced the information from the middle ESPN.
The Canadians receive Goran Dragic and Precious Achiuwa in the operation, and Lowry for his part will sign a new commitment with Florida for 3 years and around 90 million dollars.
It was the player himself who confirmed his signing for the Miami Heat of Pat Riley with a message published through his Stories from Instagram. Plus, it was a pretty hectic night for the franchise with the maximum contract for its star Jimmy Butler, and the 90 million and 5 years that shooter Duncan Robinson agreed to.
Kyle Lowry ends a journey of new seasons in the Toronto Raptors guiding the best stage of its short history and the achievement of the championship ring in 2019 after defeating the Golden State Warriors in the final. Last year he averaged 17.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 34.8 minutes of play.
