During the presentation, the mayor of Ponteceso, Lois García Carballido, praised the work being carried out by the Red Cross in Turkey and Syria to alleviate the effects of the earthquake and encouraged everyone to contribute their grain of sand.
“For us it is an extra effort but we want to take advantage of this year’s Carreira Popular Faro Roncudo so that runners and anyone who wants to can contribute a donation to the beautiful work carried out by the Red Cross,” said the councilor.
