Lawyer Ade Armando’s Case, Secretary General of PAN Examined by Police

jpnn.comJAKARTA – Secretary General of the National Mandate Party (PAN) DPP Eddy Soeparno underwent an examination at Polda Metro Jaya on Monday (23/5).

Eddy Soeparno, who was accompanied by the DPP PAN board along with a team of lawyers, was questioned from 9.30 WIB to 12.15 WIB.

The member of the DPR RI was examined as a reporting witness for the alleged defamation case by Ade Armando’s attorney, Muannas Alaidid.

“I am a witness reporting on the alleged defamation of character by Muannas Alaidid which I reported some time ago,” said Eddy at Polda Metro Jaya.

According to Eddy, during the examination he explained to the investigators about Muannas’ words which were deemed to have defamed his good name.

“I gave an explanatory statement to investigators about the statement from Muannas’ brother, which I consider to be a libel,” said Eddy.

During the examination, Eddy received 14 questions from the Polda Metro Jaya investigators.

He also admitted that he brought evidence of Muannas’ tweets which were deemed to be defamatory.
