Bayern Munich did not show anything impressive in their visit to RB Leipzig last night and drew lucky draw 1:1, finishing the game with just two accurate shots. By the end of regular time, the hegemon even had only one shot on target.

Nevertheless, the Bavarians achieved something impressive. Opta’s stats showed that for only the second time in their history, Bayern have scored 50 goals in just 16 league games. In the 1976/77 season, the team did it even for 15 rounds.

The author of last night’s goal for Munich, Erik Maxime Choupo-Moting, continues his excellent performance since the autumn. The Cameroon striker now has 12 goals in all competitions this season, which is his personal best.
