Learn about the criminalization of private tutoring activity

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, the private tutoring centers, and its staff are surrounded by a set of controls and procedures for the closure of private tutoring centers.

The "Seventh Day" in 7 information highlights the project to criminalize the activity of private lessons and includes the following:

1. The draft law criminalizing private lessons 4 articles.

2- A fine of not less than five thousand pounds and not more than 50,000 pounds shall be punished by anyone who gave a private lesson in an educational center or center or in an open place to the public in general.

3. In case of repetition of the same offense shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not less than one year and not more than three years.

4- A fine of not less than 5 thousand and not more than 50 thousand and imprisonment for a period of not less than one year and not more than 3 years shall be punished by anyone who contributed or participated in any means in committing the crime.

5. In all cases, the seizure of the seized items shall be governed by the offense.

6- Penalties Criminalizing the activity of private lessons came after reviewing the Code of Criminal Procedure and Local Administration and its amendments, the Education Law No. 139 of 1981, the Protection of Intellectual Property Law No. 82 of 2002 and the Civil Service Law No. 81 of 2016.

7 – The implementation of the judicial control of the closure of private lessons centers will begin this mid-month.
