The emergency staff of the Montceau hospital put an end on Wednesday to a strike movement of more than two years, which began on May 9, 2019. The reason: the arrival of a night nurse in this service on last June. “It was the strong point of our demands”, assures a nurse. “This is a real breakthrough for the team and the patients”.
The signs will be taken down
Renovation work in the service was added to the arrival of this reinforcement. The “On strike” signs will thus be taken down. “We thank the management but also the CFDT, FO and CGT hospital unions who have supported us throughout our movement”. As a reminder, although on strike, the staff did not stop welcoming patients in the name of continuity of care.
