Professional dancer Marta Arndt looks back on difficult times in the podcast

In the seventh “Let’s Dance” show, Marta Arndt was THE eye-catcher of the opening, as we show in the video above. The professional dancer had to leave the season in week five together with Erol Sander. The happier the fans and spectators are to see them on the floor again. The 31-year-old is a real “Let’s Dance” favorite and it is not for nothing that she is nicknamed “Marta Machine”. But for this success the professional dancer had to go through difficult times, as she now tells in the official “AUDIO NOW” podcast of the dance show.

“I put all my entire money into dance sport”

In 2017 Marta Arndt celebrated the high point of her dance career: She took first place at the World Championship Latin WDSF Professional Divisio. “That was my highlight”, she looks back in an interview with Isabel Edvardsson. After all, she had really given EVERYTHING for this dream and this goal. When Marta lived in Italy to pursue her career there, she only lived for dancing – both in terms of time and financially: “I really had, without exaggeration, moments or weeks – when I lived in Italy – I have everything I have I put money into dance and sometimes I didn’t have anything to eat. ” And that was not just said, but the tough reality: “I had so little to eat – in the end I had to go back to Germany to my parents because it just couldn’t be anymore.” She simply gave everything for her passion – which was worth it in retrospect.

By the way, Isabel Erdvadsson can empathize with Marta’s stories only too well, because she too went through tough times with her husband in dance. You can listen to the entire episode on AUDIO NOW how they saved money back then.
