Liechtenstein post offices started selling bitcoins

Liechtensteinische Post AG, the postal service of the Principality of Liechtenstein, began selling bitcoins in its branches. It is reported by the Cointelegraph, citing the official press release.

Since February 15, the service is available to residents of Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. In the future, the postal service plans to add support for other popular coins, including Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and XRP.

The new service was made possible through the partnership of Liechtensteinische Post with the Swiss payment provider Värdex Suisse AG. Also in a press release, it says that cryptocurrency exchange services are essentially the same as traditional services for converting fiat money.

Earlier, ForkLog reported that Switzerland and Liechtenstein are Europe's leaders in the development of cryptocurrency business. In these two small countries, there are about 750 firms involved in distributed registry technology.
