Lille Métropole Table Tennis hosts the Open International de Lille – 11/05/2022

This Saturday, the Marcel Bernard complex will vibrate to the rhythms of rackets and ping-pong balls for the 5th edition of the Lille International Open which will take place on 40 tables.

After welcoming table tennis players like the Belgian Jean-Michel Saiveor Belarusian Vladimir Samsonovle LMTT has once again provided you with an exceptional platter with:

  • Mattias Falck : Swedish, world n°38 (ex world n°7), vice-world champion in singles 2019, and world champion in men’s doubles 2021,
  • Omar Bake : Egyptian world n°19 (ex world n°16), 10 times African champions, including 3 times in singles, and quarter-finalist at the Tokyo Olympics,
  • Robert Gardos : Austrian, world n°35 (ex world n°18), twice European champion in men’s doubles, 4 participations in the Olympic Games,
  • Alexis Lebrun : French, 18 years old, world n°43 and world n°1 U19, bronze medalist in singles at the 2021 French championships, French men’s doubles champion 2021, 2 times French junior champions in singles (2020, 2021),
  • Felix Lebrun : French, 15 years old, world n°77 and world n°2 U17, triple European cadet champion 2021, 2 times vice-champion of France (2020, 2021),
  • Truls Möregårdh: Swedish, 20 years old, world No. 5, the current vice-world champion,
  • Antoine Hachard : French, national n°129 (ex world n°91), vice-champion of France 2019, bronze medalist at the 2015 European team championships,
  • Stephen Dorr : French, national n°54, French men’s doubles champion 2021, French mixed doubles champion 2020.

The semi-finalists, finalist and winner of the Open series, will be included in the Master series.
