Lionel Messi: New house – but did he overlook THAT? Something important is missing … – Football

Lionel Messi (34) has finally found a house in Paris after a month of searching!

But he couldn’t make a heartfelt wish come true.

The French radio station “RMC Sport” reports that the superstar, who has been playing for Paris St. Germain since this season, signed a lease for a new house with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo (33) on Wednesday evening.

According to the broadcaster, the most important thing for Messi was that the new home had a pool. Sure, swimming is important.

BUT: The property doesn’t have one. Oh no!

The wish has thus fallen into the water. Did he miss that?

Apparently there was a much more important reason. The villa should be near the school of his sons Tiago (8), Matteo (6) and Ciro (3).

Education is evidently more important than a pool at Messi’s house. Good this way!

Up until now, Messi lived with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their sons in the Hotel “Royal Monceau”. The hotel offers pure luxury – but the Argentine didn’t feel at home at all.

Now the Argentine has found a new home in the posh Neuilly-sur-Seine district in the west of the French capital.

And that has it all: The villa has two floors, more than 300 square meters of living space, four bedrooms and a small garden. The rent is less than 20,000 euros a month. Including: a security service for your loved ones.

Originally, Lionel Messi actually wanted to move to the Vente Château Le Vesinet (about an hour outside Paris). That would have had a pool too, but unfortunately it didn’t work …

Instead, like in Barcelona, he now lives close to his teammates again. A number of PSG players live in the residential area.

Hopefully that will give his performances a little boost too: Messi has not really made it to PSG yet, has not scored a goal in three games so far. In addition, the superstar injured himself and may fall for the top game in the Champions League against ManCity (Wednesday, from 9 p.m. live at DAZN (Display) and in the live ticker at BILD).

Still, Lionel Messi and his family will certainly miss the pool …
