The Lisbon stock exchange closed the last session of the week higher, advancing 0.88% to 5,705.12 points. Of the 15 listed, 13 closed the session on a high and two ended the day down.
BCP led the rise in the benchmark index, increasing by 2.84% to 0.1521 euros, following the gains of the banking sector in Europe.
Corticeira Amorim recorded the second biggest rise in the Portuguese index, up 2.23% to 10.08 euros. In energy, note for EDP Renováveis, which recorded an appreciation of 1.44% (20.39 euros), while the parent company closed on the water line (0.02%), priced at 4.361 euros. The oil company Galp advanced 0.67%, quoting at 10.525 euros, on a day when oil is registering gains above 3%.
Greenvolt, on the other hand, appreciated 0.16%, to 6.41 euros, while REN added 1.04% in this Friday’s session (2.905 euros).
Among retailers, Jerónimo Martins appreciated 0.36%, at 19.36 euros, and Sonae advanced 0.26%, to 0.974 euros.
Navigator appreciated 1.4%, closing the session at 3.904 euros, and Semapa added 1.37%, to 13.3 euros, on a day when JB Capital raised the targets of both listed companies. In the case of Semapa, the target of 22.20 euros defined by JB Capital reflects an appreciation potential of 66.9% compared to this Friday’s closing price.
On the side of falls, only Altri and Mota-Engil ended the session on negative ground. Altri depreciated by 0.91% (6.5 euros) and Mota-Engil lost 0.16% (1,252 euros).
