DESKJABAR – Work on the construction phase of the Getaci Toll Road project (Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap) will certainly begin in 2023.
This certainty was obtained following the winner of a project consortium that will work on the Getaci Toll Road that connects the provinces of West Java (West Java) and Central Java (Central Java).
BPJT PUPR’s official Instagram account @pupr_bpjt, Saturday 14 January 2023 states, the Getaci Toll Road section has a complicated geological structure with lots of mountain rocks, so it needs special handling during the construction process.

Meanwhile, Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Danang Parikesit said the Getaci Toll Road was a National Strategic Project (PSN) which was a priority in the era of President Jokowi’s leadership.
“The Getaci Toll Road is a National Strategic Project (PSN) listed in Presidential Regulation Number 109 of 2020 concerning the Acceleration of PSN Implementation,” he said.
The Getaci Toll Road, which has a total length of 206.65 km, is said to be the longest toll road in Indonesia when it is completed. It passes through several villages in West Java and Cilacap, Indonesia, such as Cigentur Village, Karangtunggal Village, Paseh District, Bandung Regency, and more.
Previously the Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum said there would be no physical development before compensation payments were made to affected residents.
Compensation for the Getaci Toll Road has begun to be paid

The two villages whose residents have received compensation money for the Getaci Toll Road are Cigentur Village and Karangtunggal Village, Paseh District, Bandung Regency. Land compensation money will be handed over on Monday, December 26, 2022.
The Auto Tajir Compensation Program has also been launched by the government to help those affected by the construction of the Getaci Toll Road. Residents who have lost their land due to the construction of the toll road can apply for the Auto Tajir Compensation program to receive compensation for their losses.
