Liverpool's apology to supporters as Jurgen Klopp insist focus is fully on double glory

Liverpool FC have canceled a special dinner with Jurgen Klopp that they are focused on the club's thrilling pursuit of Premier League and Champions League glory.

Captain Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Trent Alexander-Arnold were scheduled to attend a sold-out event with 450 supporters at Anfield on Thursday evening.

The trio were going to take part in a Q & A and tell stories about their playing careers with both the Reds and England.

However, with Liverpool playing Huddersfield Town in a crucial Premier League match just 24 hours later, Klopp has requested that the dinner be rescheduled as having interfered with the Reds' training programs. It will now take place early next season.

Liverpool FC have sent a letter of apology to all supporters.

Fans can either sign up for a full refund.

The letter read: "Given our strong position in the Premier League and Champions League, the team is continuing its important preparations for the final key games of the season.
