Liverpool’s schedule has the potential to make Klopp dizzy

Premier League has released the schedule for next season, with Liverpool will start by facing the promotion club. But schedule after that make Jürgen Klopp potential dizziness.

Liverpool, runners-up last season, will start the new season with a duel against Fulham. talkSPORT said, this is the fourth season in a row that the Reds will face a promoted team in the Premier League’s opening match.

The opening game of the season, although usually tricky, on paper the Reds will be able to pass. But the next schedule, especially after the Champions League rolls, has the potential to be more difficult for Liverpool to pass.

According to talkSPORT’s record, four Premier League teams will play Champions League group stage matches on 6/7 September, 13/14 September, 4/5 October, 11/12 October, 25/26 October and 1/2 November.

“The schedule after the European parties is always equally important and often presents a moment of slip.”

What has the potential to make Klopp dizzy, and scoffed as he once did in criticizing the schedule, is the fact that Liverpool have to have big games in the Premier League close to the Champions League schedule.

Liverpool will face four of their top six rivals on 17 September (Chelsea), 8 October (Arsenal), 15 October (Man City) and 5 November (Tottenham).

“Meanwhile, Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Spurs have only faced their rivals in the top six twice. Manchester United have not experienced it at all,” said talkSPORT.

Liverpool’s schedule in the Premier League, which has the potential to make Klopp dizzy because it is close to the Champions League party:

September 10: Wolverhampton (h)

September 17: Chelsea (a)

October: 8 Arsenal (a)

October 15: Manchester City (h)

October 29: Leeds United (h)

November 5: Tottenham Hotspur (a)
