MURCIA (EFE). The town hall of Lorca has put out to tender the awarding of the canteens of the premises of San Antonio, Tiata and Riolocated in the cafeteria of the San Antonio Sports Complex and the press kiosk, now with a new use for hospitality, on Avenida de Portugal.
The ads are posted on the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia (BORM) and according to the City Council, the objective is to restore vitality to the group of associations in the municipality. In addition to promoting the different social premises in the neighborhoods and districts that integrate cafeteria and meals that, since 2019, have been awarded in 15 social premises.
The concession is carried out through the regulations for the private use of the public space for the service of canteens and cafeterias of the municipal social premises and establishes the granting of the authorization to operate the canteen service for a maximum duration of four years.
In the case of the kiosk, it will be awarded for a period of ten years, with the possibility of a five-year extension, and various types of activities may be carried out, such as the sale of flowers and decorative ornaments, newspapers and periodicals, sale of sweets and snacks or points of sale for take-away products.
This rule has already been implemented in the kiosks in the San Vicente and Juan Moreno squares and in Calle Presbítero Emilio García.
