Interview with the Cologne General Music Director François-Xavier Roth

How did you experience the situation in lockdown?

François-Xavier Roth: Even if concerts with an audience in lockdown were not allowed, we worked very hard with the orchestra. There were many recordings, streaming concerts and workshops for which we would not have had time apart from the normal game operations. There were also special digital offers for certain target groups such as children or the elderly. But now we are very happy again that we can welcome our audience to the concerts again.
