“Nikolas Maes and Maxime Monfort are currently in charge of the performance department at Lotto Soudal. They will continue to do so at Lotto Dstny, but will be reinforced by Jeroen Dingemans (head of performance coordinator), Loïc Segaert (performance coordinator), Sander Cordeel (performance coordinator) and Britt Lambrecht (dietician)”, reports the Belgian team.
Maxime Monfort: “All four are young, enthusiastic specialists. Experts in their field and with the latest techniques. They will all maintain a very close relationship with our riders.”
“We are confident that we can grow to a higher level together with them. Unfortunately, this means that we have to end the collaboration with Energy Lab. We want to thank them for many years of successful cooperation.”
Paul Van Den Bosch was one of the faces of Energy Lab. He coached Tim Wellens, among others, who will move to UAE next year.
Loïc Segaert is one of the new names. He is the brother of Alec Segaert, in Wollongong good for silver in the time trial with the promises. Segaert Jr. will turn pro at Lotto Dstny in 2024.
